Repeat Prescriptions

If you require a regular repeat prescription, this will be recorded on the practice computer system VISION.

When you get your green prescription you will also receive a counterfoil detailing your available repeat medication.

When you next require a repeat, please tick the items required and put it in the box in reception. Alternatively you can fax your request to us.

Please allow 48 hours (Two working days) before collection - we process up to 700 requests a DAY.

You can also email us on us your repeat request using the following address:

HULLCCG.B81056-Prescriptions@nhs.net

Please state clearly in your email :

  • Your name
  • Your address
  • Your date of birth
  • The medication you are requesting

Repeat prescriptions will not be accepted over the telephone apart from elderly and housebound patients who are unable to attend the surgery. It is requested that these calls be made between 9.30am and 12.30pm on any weekday.

To provide good medical care, we offer a medication review when you join our Practice, if you are on long term medication.

Remember to order enough medication to last over any bank holiday, or when you are going away on holiday.

Please be responsible for managing your own medication - do not leave requests for repeat prescriptions until you have run out of tablets.

Patient Services (Previously VISION Online)

By registering for Patient Services you will be able to log directly into our practice computer system. This will then show you the repeat medication you can order. You simply click what you want and we will be notified that you have requested it. Simply select "Register for Patient Services" from the side menu.

Repeat Dispensing

If you use the same medication regularly, you may benefit from repeat dispensing from the pharmacy. This means you will not have to visit the surgery or make an appointment to see the doctor or practice nurse every time you need more medicine. Ask your GP at your next consultation about "Repeat Dispensing".
