Online Access to your Electronic Record

From April 2015 you are now able to access the allergies and repeat medication aspects of your medical record online using VISION Online.

If you do not already have a VISION Online username and password you must get these first.

Simply go to VISION online page and download a registration form. Then bring this into the practice along with the required ID - one bank statement and a form of ID with your photograph on.

Once registered you will be able to book appointments and order repeat medication straight away.

If you already have VISION Online access for appointments and prescriptions, you will need to bring in the required ID before you can use the Access to Records facility.

When you bring in your ID, we will record in your record that we have seen it. Without ID you will not be able to access your record online when the facility becomes available.

You CANNOT send someone else with your registration form and ID - you MUST come yourself.

If you are a parent/guardian registering a child under 14 we need to see YOUR ID not the child's - children over 14 must register in their own right with their own ID.

We apologise if this seems a bit over the top but it is very important that we ensure that patient security and confidentiality is protected.

We also need you to consider what email addresses you use for registering for online services. It is important that different family members use different email addresses when registering to enhance the security of your record.

We will keep you up to date with further developments regarding online access including when access to other parts of your record become available.
